It’s Official!
$8,000.00 in your pocket! Never
in the history of real estate has the market been this great to purchase your
first home. Rates are at an all time
LOW. Home prices are even lower. There are so many incentives to help first
time home buyers and some programs are still available for 100% financing. Details
coming out of the federal “Stimulus Package” are becoming clear especially for
first time buyers. New home buyers are
now eligible for an $8,000 tax credit with very few strings attached. The closing of the transaction must occur
before November 30, 2009. There is no
repayment as long as you use the home as your primary residence for three
years. Even if your tax liability for
2009 is less than $8,000 you can still get the full $8,000.00 benefit. For instance if you owe $2,000.00 to the IRS
when you file your taxes you can use the tax credit to pay your tax liability
and still get $6,000.00 back! Call your
tax advisor or I can provide you with some additional information about the
credit at your convenience.
